How Is Budget Calculated & How Does it Work?

Budget reflects the financial strength of a holding to make new investments. The required Budget for buying upzising a license or making a takeover bid is composed of:

The Licence Cost the next turn's cost for staff & material and the additional interest cost.

No credit is available without Insurance which will therefore reduce your available budget considerably.

No budget is available when a Holding's credit rating falls below B-. Therefore no investments are possible when a credit rating is less than B- i.e. takeover bids upsizings and purchases of new licences are not possible as the Budget is shown at 0 until the credit rating increases back to B- or higher.
